The DCA Farmgate Milk Price Calculator allows you to easily compare milk prices from processors in the Netherlands and Belgium, under the same conditions for a fair comparison. Due to the wide range of milk streams, multiple calculators are available.
The calculator provides you with a reliable overview of the achievable milk prices in the market. The tool is not intended as an advisory instrument, but can be used for guidance.
The calculation takes into account specific milk payment schemes from the processors. This includes negative base prices, quality premiums, volume bonuses, and both stackable and non-stackable bonuses. Back payments are displayed in a table below the graph. Furthermore, any contribution fees required to become a member of a cooperative are not considered in the calculation.
Based on specific company data, such as fat and protein content and annual milk production, the basic milk prices are tailored to your specifications. The default calculation is based on the fat and protein content levels set by ZuivelNL. The annual milk production is set to 1 million kilos by default, which aligns with the average size of a Dutch dairy farm.
